For this notice, “ToolMerit,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the independent operator of this editorial website. Privacy and legal requests can be made through the contact route below. We do not publish the destination mailbox in page markup because that would increase spam and abuse.

02 · INFORMATION WE COLLECT
ToolMerit is primarily an editorial website. Visiting a page, using a browser-based utility, subscribing to a service, clicking an external link, or sending a message can involve different categories of information. We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through ordinary site forms.
Name, email address, and any information you choose to write in a contact form.

We use information only for the purposes described here or otherwise explained at the time of collection. If your applicable law requires a lawful basis, the relevant basis may include consent, performance of a request you make, compliance with a legal obligation, or legitimate interests that do not override your rights and interests.

06 · RETENTION & SECURITY
We retain information for the period reasonably necessary to respond to a request, keep the site secure, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations. The exact period depends on the information and the system that holds it.
The form sends email and does not create a separate WordPress database of submissions. Messages remain subject to the recipient mailbox and mail provider’s retention settings.
Hostinger and applicable WordPress security or caching components may keep technical logs under their operational and contractual retention practices.
Requests are handled as contact messages. No automated ToolMerit mailing list is currently connected to the public footer.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No internet transmission, email delivery, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident, we will assess and respond in accordance with applicable obligations.
07 · YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of certain personal information; to object to some processing; to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; or to complain to a relevant data-protection authority. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Use the privacy request route from the email address associated with your request, with enough detail for us to locate the relevant information. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive personal information through the form.
We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, subject to permitted extensions or exceptions.
For a configured newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us. Do not use the editorial contact form for marketing messages you did not request.
08 · INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Hostinger and mail-service infrastructure may process information outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, we rely on the relevant provider arrangements and other permitted transfer mechanisms. Contact us if you need more information about a specific request.
09 · CHILDREN
ToolMerit is intended for adults and business users interested in software and marketing workflows. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can assess the report and delete the information where appropriate.
10 · CHANGES & CONTACT
We may update this notice when our practices, services, legal requirements, or site features change. The current page record is version 1.0, last updated August 16, 2026. We will revise that record and, when appropriate, provide additional notice before a material new use of personal information takes effect.
