SCHEDULING, APPROVALS & SOCIAL RESPONSE

Social media tools for publishing with the right approvals

Choose by publishing work, billing unit and team control

These are different buying models, not three interchangeable subscriptions. The fit column is ToolMerit's editorial judgment; the plan boundaries come from each provider. If your only problem is coordinating a few posts, do not pay for a wider customer-care suite before testing a simpler queue.

THE SAME WORKLOAD, THREE QUOTES

Two brands, six social accounts, three people

Suppose each of two brands has an Instagram account, Facebook Page and LinkedIn Page. Three people need to work in the tool, and drafts require review. That means 2 × 3 = 6 channels, not three channels merely because there are three networks. This is an illustrative purchasing scenario, not ToolMerit's account or invoice.

These USD examples exclude applicable taxes, optional add-ons and onboarding work. Check the checkout total and billing term. They illustrate the unit being bought, not equal feature coverage or a universal cheapest platform.

Metricool's brand structure allows one profile per platform; two Instagram profiles cannot occupy the same brand slot. Its add-on documentation also prices X separately per connected account. Adding two X accounts would add $20/month equivalent, or $240/year, to the example—not two free extra networks.

PERMISSION TO PUBLISH

An approval feature does not always require an explicit yes

Metricool's approval documentation distinguishes one approval, everyone's approval and automatic acceptance when nobody rejects. With two assigned reviewers, the same feedback can produce different outcomes:

FROM SCHEDULED TO VISIBLE

Direct publishing and a phone reminder are different workflows

For example, Buffer's Instagram documentation limits automatic publishing to eligible Business or Creator content. Personal accounts and features such as native music or Story stickers use a notification workflow.

Keep an owner for every manual finish. Check the correct profile, caption, crop, audio rights, time zone and destination link before the scheduled time. A network appearing on a vendor's logo list is not proof that your particular account, media format, inbox action and report are supported.

Test one real workflow before moving the calendar

Use accounts and sample content you have permission to test. The checks below are a proposed trial, not tasks ToolMerit has performed inside these services. Keep the existing schedule and source assets until the new workflow is verified.

If social traffic should drive an inquiry, label the destination with the campaign URL builder and define the outcome in the analytics and conversion guide. Social impressions, link clicks and website sessions measure different things; none alone proves a sale or causal lift.
