How is the monthly cost calculated?+
Each tool’s entered price is multiplied by its number of seats and normalized to a monthly estimate. Annual prices are divided by 12, quarterly prices by 3, and weekly prices are multiplied by 52 then divided by 12.
Does this calculator save my tool list?+
No. The calculator runs in your browser. ToolMerit does not save or receive the names, prices, notes, or totals you enter. Reloading the page starts a fresh list.
Can I use more than one currency?+
Not in one calculation. Choose the currency that matches your bill amounts. The calculator deliberately does not use exchange-rate data, so it cannot safely combine multiple currencies into one total.
Should I include free plans and usage-based pricing?+
Include free plans if you want a complete inventory, using a price of zero. For usage-based services, enter a realistic recent monthly average and add a note to revisit the estimate regularly.
